Mike Summers - June 2007:

Flew into Boise to check out Idaho. Here's the airport websites: http://www.iflyboise.com/ and http://www.ifly.com/boise-airport for current information. The airport is only six miles from downtown Boise. Here's two websites for Boise attractions and things to do while there:
http://www.welcometoboise.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=attractions.main and http://travel.yahoo.com/p-travelguide-2823687-boise_things_to_do-i . Since I'm into running, I really loved the 22 Mile Boise River Greenbelt (Website:
http://parks.cityofboise.org/parks-locations/parks/greenbelt/ ). If you would rather rent a bike, here's a local bike store, Idaho Mountain Touring, that rents bikes: http://www.idahomountaintouring.com/articles/bike-rental-information-pg119.htm . An here's a second place, Bikes 2 Boards, that rent bikes in Boise: http://bikes2boards.com/B2B/bikerentals2.html . As for Brew Pubs, we checked out a couple. Highlands Hollow Brewhouse has an excellent Berry Good Wheat Beer and five different chicken sandwiches to choose from. The TableRock Brewery has a killer Artichoke Spinach Dip and a great Gyro. From Boise we headed south for two hours toward Twin Falls, ID (Website:
http://www.destination360.com/north-america/us/idaho/twin-falls ) for more spectacular scenery. Shoshone Falls is called the Niagra of the west (Website: [[http://www.visitidaho.org/attractio n/natural-attractions/shoshone-falls/|sce]] ) , and is worth the visit. Twin Falls is a 3.25 hour drive to Salt Lake City, UT. Boise and Idaho have spectacular scenery. Enjoy!
